See Milton Keynes’ rich heritage on screen for the first time
If you’ve always thought of Milton Keynes as a new city, a specially-commissioned film will reveal that we’ve been making history for more than 2,000 years. Produced for The Milton Keynes Collection, the film aims to showcase some of the city’s heritage gems, and inspire more of us to visit and get involved. Funded by MK Arts & Heritage Alliance and MK Community Foundation, and produced by Jump off the Screen, the film is also an introduction to the Collection and its partners. View it here:

Dozens of ways to enjoy the heritage on our doorstep feature in the Summer of Culture programme which is set to give the city something to remember.
The summer of culture brings together events for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Olympics, and the International Festival, in a packed programme running from May-September.
And our Milton Keynes Collection partners are playing an active role with a host of events for all ages and interests – including historical re-enactments, guided tours, exhibitions and themed family days.
